Roger introduced me to places in Taegu, Korea that I didn't even know existed and I have lived in Taegu my entire life.  He was helping local missionaries at the church I was attending to learn english.

I had always wanted to go to the mountain's but didn't have anyone to go with.  I found the "Vacation Man" and he took care of everything.  You could tell he knew exactly what he was doing and I always felt safe when I was with him.

I met Mr. Roger when he came to Budapest, Hungary to visit.  After two trips he knew the city like the back of his hand.  I was always afraid to take the subway because I didn't understand how it worked.  Now I take the subway everywhere in Budapest.  He was a great host for our family.

We needed someone who would represent America well here in Croatia.  After a few weeks in Croatia we knew Special Agent Aderholdt would be the best person for the job.  From that day on he was responsible for taking VIP's from the U.S. Government and other Countries on tours of the War Tour States of Yugoslavia.  It was my pleasure to be able to work with him and wish him great success when he returns to America.
This is a photo of us on the ocean in Dubrovnic, Croatia.

Mr. Roger was like "NO" American we had ever met.  He called us one day and asked if it would be o.k. to come visit our church in Taegu.  We were 20 miles outside the city but he found his way with no problem on the bus.  He would even ride his bicycle he bought at the market sometimes.  Mr. Roger was different in the fact that he wanted to be with the LOCAL'S.  He wanted to learn everything about the Korean Culture and we respected him for that.  When he goes back to America I hope he visits my daughter.
She needs a good man to marry.

I have known the "Vacation Man" for about five years.  I have never met anyone like him.  He used to come into work and say, "I'm going to Florida tomorrow or to Las Vegas tomorrow.  Of course no one believed him at first.  However, after five years, we know that Roger is in fact the "VACATION MAN."  I still cry every time I think about his movie he made about his time in Bosnia and Croatia.

Mr. Roger went to more places in North and South Korea
than my father did and he was in the war.
We basically didn't like the Americans.
However, everyone loved Mr. Roger once they got to know him.

The "Vacation Man" would take us to places we have never even heard of in Seoul.  We met Roger while he was a Special Agent in Taegu.  We hired him to teach us English.  He was very kind and patient.  He could drive or take the Subway.  We always got to where we were going safely.
We wish you the best back in America.

Special Agent Aderholdt took to the Korean people like I had never seen and I had been working with the American Government since the war ended over 40 years ago.

We met Roger while on Vacation in Germany.  He was living there at the time studying German.  He was very nice and took us all over Munich.  We still stay in contact with him Back in America.

I met Roger when he came to visit my home with our pastor.  He had just returned from Korea and my husband of 60 years had just died.  We became best friends.  He is always so helpful and always has an open ear to listen.  If I had better health I would want to go with Roger all over the world.
